Crown Lawn Care

Services

Everything we do —in plain English.

We’ll quote any of these on-site. The price you get is the price you pay — no surprise add-ons, no upsells.

  • Weekly Mowing

Crisp, even cut on a steady schedule — front, back, side yards, with edged borders and blown-clean walks every visit.

Weekly or bi-weekly mowing tuned for Hill Country St. Augustine, Bermuda, and zoysia. Sharp blades every cut, height adjusted by season so the lawn keeps moisture through July and never gets scalped on a dry week. Edged at every visit, walks and drives blown clean before we leave the property.

  • Edging & Trimming

Clean, deliberate edges along beds, walks, and limestone borders — and string-trim around fences, posts, and live oaks.

Power-edged borders that hold a sharp line for the full week. Careful trim work around limestone retaining walls, cedar posts, and the trees a mower cannot reach. Final pass with the blower so nothing carries onto the patio, driveway, or the road in front of your house.

  • Bed Maintenance

Hand-pull weeds, refresh mulch, prune perennials at the right time, and keep the front beds looking like someone tends them.

Hand-pulled weeds (no glyphosate near edibles unless you ask). Seasonal pruning timed to each plant — agarita, salvia, lantana, esperanza — rather than a single calendar date. Mulch top-up every spring and fall to keep moisture in and weeds suppressed through the worst of the summer.

  • Mulch Installation

Hardwood, cedar, or dyed black — installed at the right depth so the beds look fresh and the weeds give up.

Bulk-delivered mulch (or bagged, your call), hand-spread to a consistent 2 to 3 inches around plants and trees with a clean edge against the lawn. We pull last year’s clumped mulch out first if it has matted down. Cedar is popular up here — smells like Hill Country and lasts a season longer than most hardwoods.

  • Rock Beds & Borders

Decorative rock beds, dry creek beds, and limestone borders that fit Hill Country properties — and stay put.

River rock, decomposed granite, and Hill Country limestone laid over weed barrier with a defined edge against turf or pavers. Great for slopes, drip lines, and the strip along the driveway where grass gives up. Built to handle the runoff after a Cibolo Creek storm without washing out.

  • Fertilization

Balanced feed program tuned for Hill Country soils — green-up in spring, sustain through summer, set up for winter.

Slow-release granular feed timed for the Hill Country growing window. We test pH on alkaline limestone soils so the iron actually stays available, and we hold back when the lawn doesn’t need it — over-feeding in July is a great way to cook a yard.

  • Sod Installation

Bermuda, zoysia, or St. Augustine — graded, laid, rolled, and a watering schedule you can actually follow.

Soil prep, light grading, fresh sod laid in a brick-pattern with tight seams, rolled in, and a printed watering schedule for the first three weeks. We come back at week two to check root contact. Most Boerne builds come with worn-out sod from a hot-summer install — we redo the bad spots and stitch in seam by seam where we can save it.

  • Yard Work & Cleanup

Cedar drops, oak leaves, post-storm debris, brush hauling — the heavy work between regular visits.

Cedar drop in February, oak leaves through spring, mountain-laurel pods, broken limbs after a Hill Country storm. We haul it off so you’re not stacking it on the curb for a week. One-time or scheduled — most longer-term customers add a quarterly cleanup on top of weekly mowing.

Most weekly customers add cleanups, mulch, and the odd hardscape job — there’s usually a flat-rate way to handle that.
